ASSAM AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY  Invites applications through  ONLINE mode for the posts of STENOGRAPHER Gr-III, STENOGRAPHER-CUM-COMPUTER OPERATOR AND DRIVER-CUM-MECHANIC  from all the Eligible Candidates.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Candidates must For Stenographer Gr-III :  Bachelors Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized  University . AND  must pass the Speed Test Examination of Stenographer of 80w.p.m in English conducted by the University. 
For Stenographer -cum-computer operator 
i) Bachelors Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized  University .ii) Possession of Certificate of Stenography iii) Computer Operation with minimum at least 6 months diploma from a recognized Institution.  AND  One dictation test in English at 80w.p.m for 10 minutes.  The candidates will be required to transcribe the mater in 50 minutes on computer.
For Driver-cum-Mechanic

Candidates should complete i) Passed HSLC or its equivalent Examination from a Recognized Board/ Institution..  ii)  Driving license for both heavy and light vehicles from the appropriate authority. iii)  At least five yrs experience of driving of both category of vehicles..   

AGE :

Candidates Maximum age Limit is : 38 years  as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.

SELECTION PROCESS

Selection Process will be made on Skill Test  and Interview.

APPLICATION FEES

Candidates of SC/ST/PH are have to pay Rs.150/- and Other candidates have to pay Rs.300/- at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with STATE BANK OF INDIA, AAU JORHAT BRANCH (A/c.No.33019714091).  For Payment of Application Fee candidates downloaded a challan copy from the University website and fee-paid challan copy is to be enclosed along with the application form
